Job Summary: Kitchen assistant responsible for preparing and sanitizing ingredients, assisting the chef, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting inventory control. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficiency in food preparation and delivery 2. Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including utensils and equipment 3. Assist in food preparation, plating, and final presentation with quality Bar and grill seeking a Kitchen Assistant in Aracaju (Luzia). **Responsibilities:** Prepare and sanitize ingredients such as meats, vegetables, sauces, and seasonings for dish preparation. Assist the chef in food preparation, plating, and final presentation, adhering to quality and presentation standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including utensils, countertops, and equipment. Restock ingredients and supplies during service to ensure prompt customer service. Support inventory control of supplies and request replenishment when necessary. Follow hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and proper use of PPE. Assist in cleaning and organizing equipment, stoves, grills, and work areas. Follow instructions from the chef or head cook when performing tasks. Document incidents related to products, waste, or maintenance needs. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficiency in food preparation and delivery. Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities in this position. High school diploma required.
