This professional is responsible for restocking shelves and displays, maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service. Below are the main responsibilities and required skills for this position: * **Merchandise Restocking:** Restock products on shelves and displays, ensuring they are well-organized and visually appealing to customers. Maintain product rotation by placing newer items behind older ones (FIFO \- First In, First Out). * **Inventory Control:** Monitor shelf and warehouse inventory levels, notifying management or the purchasing team when replenishment is needed. Participate in periodic inventories by counting and recording available products. * **Organization and Cleaning:** Keep shelves, displays, and storage areas clean and organized. Ensure products are correctly labeled with prices and relevant information. * **Expiry Date Verification:** Check product expiry dates and remove expired or near-expiry items. Follow specific procedures for disposal or return of expired products. * **Customer Service:** Assist customers in locating products and provide information about available items. Collect customer feedback and forward suggestions or complaints to management. * **Promotions and Displays:** Set up and dismantle promotional and seasonal displays as instructed by management. Ensure promotions are properly signposted and attractive to customers. * **Workplace Safety:** Follow all occupational safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required. Maintain a safe, unobstructed workplace to prevent accidents.
