If you want the opportunity to develop in a challenging environment, contribute to innovative practices, and consistently promote better interaction among teams, join AMG BRAZIL!!! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Fabricate, repair, and install various components and elements from metal sheets—including steel, galvanized iron, copper, tin, brass, aluminum, and zinc; manufacture or repair structures, pipes, tanks, reservoirs, and other containers from steel sheets; cut, shape, and work ferrous profiled bars. * Interpret technical drawings; * Perform fabrication and boilerworks services according to drawings. * Operate oxy-fuel cutting and general industrial welding equipment. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly disposing of waste materials. * Request and transport materials required for boilerworks activities. * Participate, when necessary, in failure analyses. * Receive, execute, and close boilerworks/welding service orders (OS), verifying required resources (parts, tools, instruments, appropriate location, etc.) to perform activities safely and with quality. * Roll metal sheets to shape metals and other materials under pressure and deformation into cylindrical, conical, or spherical forms. * Technically assess boilerworks/welding services to be performed on parts, subassemblies, and assemblies—conducting visual inspections, verifying specific features per intervention type, and defining operational sequences to be executed. * Select appropriate materials, consulting and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and other instructions to ensure activity quality and safety. * Prepare and clean parts—verifying dimensions, marking, and punching parts, among other tasks—as well as finishing rolled and welded areas to minimize burrs, spatter, and porosity resulting from these operations. * Conduct crack testing on metallic parts and weld inspection on structures, metallic bases, and piping supports to prevent fatigue and part failure (defects). * Provide technical oversight of contractor-performed boilerworks activities to ensure quality and safety in outsourced services. * Perform welding using coated electrodes, fusion and filler metal welding, electrode cutting, oxyacetylene cutting, and plasma cutting. * Analyze scenarios and manage interferences during maintenance execution. * Comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSMA) policies and procedures. * Comply with company policies, programs, guidelines, and objectives. * Advise managers on effective communication regarding SSMA issues. * Participate in the development and continuous improvement of SSMA through implementation of internal and external best practices. * Attend daily safety meetings (DDS). **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education and Training** * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (preferred); * Course in Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings (preferred); * Completed high school; Professional training and experience in Boilerworks or Welding. * **Competencies and Skills** * Knowledge of metal cutting and bending; * Welding using coated electrodes, MIG, and TIG; * Interpersonal skills. **Additional Information** **Discover all AMG BENEFITS:** **YOUR HEALTH COMES FIRST:** * Health insurance; * Pharmacy allowance; * Dental plan; * Wellhub (Gympass); * Telemedicine service. **FOR YOUR NUTRITION:** * Meal allowance; * On-site meals/snacks (subject to work schedule). **MOBILITY FOR YOUR IN-PERSON WORK:** * Chartered bus or transportation allowance. **FINANCIAL SECURITY AND PEACE OF MIND:** * Profit-sharing program (PPR); * Private pension plan; * Life insurance; * Payroll-deducted loans. **FOR FAMILY—OUR MOST PRECIOUS ASSET:** * School supplies kit; * Newborn kit; * Extension of Unimed and dental benefits to parents. **AMG ADVANTAGES:** * Discounts for employees and dependents at partner establishments. #### **If you believe you can make a difference and collaborate with innovative practices,** **#JOINAMG!** Here, our greatest purpose is to improve people's lives.
