Job Summary:
The professional will provide clear and proactive customer service, resolving inquiries, solving problems, and supplying information regarding health plans and procedures.

**Your responsibilities will include:**
• Providing prompt and clear service to deliver information, resolve customer inquiries, and solve problems;
• Authorizing pending procedures (consultations, exams, and surgeries) for customers located in other cities (inter-city exchange), via system;
• Providing telephone and in-person customer service, delivering information about the plan (enrollment/exclusion/transfer), waiting periods, membership card, accredited network, coverage, etc.;
• Providing in-person service to beneficiaries and registering all requests; verifying contractual information, temporary partial coverage, waiting periods, rules or exceptions, and other details by consulting operational systems; forwarding such contractual information to medical auditing for analysis and authorization or denial of the request;
• Seeking solutions for exams and procedures unavailable locally by conducting local research or exploring options in other municipalities;
• Serving internal and external customers via telephone or in person to clarify matters regarding the service location;
• And other duties.
* Completed high school education
**Technical Knowledge:**
* Computer literacy: Word or other text editor, Excel or other spreadsheet software
* Experience in public-facing customer service
