Development and implementation of sustainable growth plans We have an opportunity for a General Manager with a company boasting over 45 years of experience in the mining sector, recognized for its extraction and commercialization of stones, crushed stone, and precast concrete products, with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. The General Manager will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the group’s activities at the Itaúna unit and other units, ensuring efficient process execution, attainment of productivity, quality, and safety targets, as well as integrated team management. Responsibilities: Operational leadership of units under responsibility, ensuring delivery of planned economic and financial results. Develop and implement strategic plans for sustainable area growth. Manage multidisciplinary teams, promoting development, engagement, and a positive organizational climate. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Control operational costs, resource consumption, and production process efficiency. Engage with suppliers, customers, and partners to maintain competitive positioning. Prepare managerial reports for executive management and stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the mineral or basic materials industry. Knowledge of production processes, quality, safety, and environmental management. Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to make strategic decisions and possess a systemic business vision.
