Job Summary: A Speech-Language Pathology professional to work in a hospital setting, delivering bedside services focused on dysphagia, language, and voice, while also collaborating on routine standardization and health education. Key Highlights: 1. Bedside speech-language pathology services 2. Collaboration in standardizing service routines 3. Participation in team health education For 86 years, the José Silveira Foundation has kept its gaze fixed on the future, continuously reinventing its practices in an unpredictable world—without ever losing sight of its solid roots: caring for people's health and improving their quality of life. With this in mind, we seek individuals who embrace innovation and are eager to contribute to our ongoing growth and the perpetuation of our legacy. Join our purpose! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Deliver bedside speech-language pathology services across all hospital units, with emphasis on dysphagia, language, voice, and orofacial motor skills; * Assist in developing the Administrative and Technical Manual to standardize service operations, routines, and clinical actions; * Support implementation of feeding assessment kits in collaboration with Nutrition, to streamline service routines and patient progress—reducing the interval between assessments and oral intake initiation, thereby accelerating weaning from alternative feeding routes and ultimately reducing enteral nutrition costs and patient hospitalization duration; * Participate in service shift handovers, where patient cases are discussed to ensure multidisciplinary resolution and management, guaranteeing consistency in clinical approaches; * Complete daily patient mapping spreadsheets to monitor service utilization and track the number of patients per unit; these sheets also record all relevant clinical information, interventions, and observations for each case; * Document speech-language pathology progress notes in the electronic health record system to optimize service workflow and interdisciplinary communication; * Collaborate with Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy Nursing in developing the Enteral Nutrition Handbook, to conduct health education across units—including staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral intake initiation; * Provide support to Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy Nursing during EMTN trainings, to deliver health education across units—including staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral intake initiation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; * Specialization in the field is desirable; * Experience in hospital settings; * Active CREFONO registration. Founded on February 21, 1937 by Professor José Silveira, the José Silveira Foundation (FJS) has expanded its mission through sustainable growth grounded in strategic planning and a commitment to achieving optimal outcomes. As a nonprofit philanthropic institution, FJS primarily serves underserved populations while maintaining high-quality service standards. This is reflected in the exemplary work of our units in areas such as tuberculosis control, neonatal care, humanized childbirth, breast cancer treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with neuropsychomotor, intellectual, and autism-related disabilities. Annually, FJS delivers over 1.2 million services. Additionally, FJS conducts preventive and health promotion initiatives, as well as socio-environmental programs targeting communities in Salvador and municipalities across Bahia’s interior—contributing to improved social and health indicators throughout the state. **\#JoinFJS**
