Join our mission! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Deliver bedside speech-language pathology services across all hospital units, with emphasis on dysphagia, language, voice, and orofacial motor skills; * Assist in developing the Administrative and Technical Manual to standardize service operations, routines, and clinical interventions; * Support implementation of feeding assessment kits jointly with the nutrition department, to streamline service workflows and enhance patient progress—reducing intervals between assessments and oral intake initiation, accelerating weaning from alternative feeding routes, and ultimately reducing enteral diet costs and hospitalization duration; * Participate in shift handovers, where patient cases are discussed to ensure multidisciplinary management and resolution, as well as consistency in clinical decisions; * Complete daily patient mapping spreadsheets to monitor service utilization and track the number of patients per unit; these sheets also record each patient’s clinical status, prescribed interventions, and relevant observations for case management; * Document speech-language pathology progress notes in the electronic health record system to optimize service workflows and communication among the multidisciplinary team; * Collaborate with the nutrition and nursing teams of nutritional therapy to develop the Enteral Nutrition Handbook, enabling health education across units through staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral intake initiation; Provide support to the nutrition and nursing teams of nutritional therapy during EMTN trainings to deliver health education across units through staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral intake initiation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; * Specialization in the field is desirable; * Experience in hospital settings; * Active CREFONO registration.
