Description

Job Summary: A professional to perform splicing, installation, and maintenance of optical fiber, metallic, and coaxial cables; test cables; and assist with infrastructure, organizing and supervising team activities. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in splicing and maintenance of optical fiber, metallic, and coaxial cables. 2. Performs network installations, cable laying, and maintenance. 3. Leadership and team organization with daily production reports. * Splice optical fiber, metallic, and coaxial cables, both aerially and underground. * Perform network **installations, cable laying, and maintenance**. * Assemble **splice closures** and prepare cables for connection. * Use equipment to **test cables**, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting. * Conduct basic and more detailed tests to identify defects. * Assist with minor **infrastructure tasks**, such as installing conduits, raceways, cable trays, and racks at POPs and sites. * Complete **service orders** and reports documenting work performed and materials used. * Keep the workplace **organized, clean, and safe**. * Carry out other job-related tasks as required. * **Organize, assign, and supervise** team activities, submitting daily production reports. * **Mandatory:** Availability to work rotating shifts.
