MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for developing activities related to undergraduate and graduate courses and disciplines offered by FUMEC University in distance learning mode. Responsibilities of the Distance Education Department – FUMEC Virtual include: monitoring the implementation of offered courses; implementing initiatives aimed at expanding the use of technology in the teaching-learning process; monitoring and evaluating departmental activities and proposing strategic action plans for approval by competent bodies; supervising academic activities of FUMEC Virtual; monitoring the availability of course and discipline content in the virtual environment; VI – performing other duties within the scope of competence assigned by the Rector. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Completed Bachelor’s degree. Preferred fields: Business Administration, Pedagogy, Languages, Social Communication. COMPLEMENTARY QUALIFICATIONS: Postgraduate degree in Education or related fields (desirable). Familiarity with the guidelines of the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC) and the National Curricular Guidelines for the Pedagogy Program. Experience with Virtual Learning Environments (VLE). Familiarity with active learning methodologies and online mediation. KEY COMPETENCIES (SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE): a) Knowledge of active learning methodologies. b) Experience with Virtual Learning Environments (VLE). c) Ability to provide pedagogical mediation in synchronous and asynchronous activities. d) Skill in grading evaluative assignments. e) Competence in monitoring and tracking students’ academic performance. f) Ability to guide the teaching-learning process with a focus on students’ holistic development.
