Collaboration with local and global IT support teams JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for delivering first-level support to users (guidance, inquiries, incidents, problems, and requests) via established communication channels for the IT and Facilities areas; documenting procedures; escalating tickets; preparing and configuring IT equipment; performing IT on-call duties according to schedule; boarding the fleet to provide services and on-site support as scheduled; onboarding new users — all aimed at ensuring availability, performance, security, and alignment with business expectations regarding scope, timelines, costs, and quality for onshore and offshore operations at MdB, in line with MODEC’s corporate strategy, policies, and guidelines. **Responsibilities and Duties** RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES We are seeking a professional for the position of **IT Support Analyst**, dedicated to our fleet of vessels and based at our office located at Praia do Flamengo. **To perform the following functions:** * Provide first-level IT (infrastructure and systems) and Facilities technical support to internal and external customers. * Support budgeting for IT support items. * Contribute to resource and cost allocation processes to meet business needs. * Be available to handle area demands according to defined and agreed-upon working hours and shifts, including on-call duty or boarding requirements for on-site offshore support. * Operate in accordance with best practices and defined processes for technical support services, infrastructure and systems requests, and Facilities-related requests. * Install, configure, and prepare equipment, basic software, tools, and services required to execute assigned functions for company employees and address business needs — contributing to their maintenance, support, evolution, lifecycle management, and replacement as needed, per best practices and corporate policies. * Collaborate synergistically and in partnership with the local Level 2 IT support team and the global IT team to deliver infrastructure and systems technical support services, escalating technical issues and information security matters as required. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Informatics, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields; * Solid experience in IT infrastructure and systems support, requests, and services; * Strong knowledge of servers, cabling, structured networks, email servers, cloud platforms, and customer service; * Advanced English (mandatory); * Microsoft desktop-related certifications are desirable; * Willingness to undertake recurrent travel, including boarding assignments. **Additional Information** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Joining MODEC means being a PROTAGONIST in a career full of CHALLENGES and engaging daily with the most advanced deepwater production systems — knowing your career begins in BRAZIL but your talent can take you around the WORLD. * **If you aim to be among the best in the market, this is your opportunity!!** * **As a MULTICULTURAL company that values DIVERSITY, we encourage applications from persons with disabilities (PCD) in our recruitment processes.** At MODEC, our greatest asset is our people.
