Ensures proper food handling, preservation of supplies, and maintenance of cleanliness and organization in the workplace, strictly adhering to hygiene, food safety, and company-established standards. * Assist in food pre\-preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients); * + Sort and organize ingredients according to the cook's instructions; + Prepare salads, simple sauces, side dishes, and other basic items; + Assist in plating and finalizing dishes; + Sanitize food, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces; + Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, cold rooms, and storage areas; + Store food in accordance with preservation guidelines and expiration date control; + Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing goods; + Restock supplies and materials required for production; + Perform proper waste collection and disposal; + Comply with occupational safety regulations and good food handling practices; + Support the team during production peaks and operational demands. + OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED BY THE KITCHEN MANAGER OR GENERAL MANAGER
