Equipment Inspector (Receiving)

**Do you like the idea of working with cutting-edge technology?** **Would you like to contribute to global energy solutions in a dynamic and continuously evolving industry?** As an equipment inspector, the professional must inspect and ensure that products manufactured, delivered, and/or received by Baker Hughes meet customer needs and expectations, always in compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and technical requirements. **Work with the best** The equipment inspector must be capable of performing physical oversight of tests, assemblies, and general physical verifications, as well as documentary analyses—including internal records and supplier documentation. As an equipment inspector, you will be responsible for: * Performing receiving inspections according to internal procedures; conducting visual and dimensional inspections where applicable. * Reviewing traceability/documents/requirements/Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). * Analyzing technical documentation submitted by the supplier to ensure the supplier has met and integrated all requirements for supplying the item in question. * Opening and closing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports). * Implementing process improvements. * Conducting inspections at supplier sites either on-site or remotely. * Issuing IRs (Inspection Reports)/RCPs (Customer Property Receipts). * Analyzing manufacturing/maintenance process documentation and generating Databooks per each customer’s specifications. * Issuing Certificates of Conformance. * Performing Housekeeping/6S at the workstation. **Fuel your passion** To succeed in this role, you must have: * Completed technical or undergraduate education in fields such as: Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Welding, Oil & Gas, and related disciplines. * Basic English language knowledge (minimum reading proficiency). * Familiarity with Windows environment/MS Office. * Additional training courses in quality-related areas—e.g., painting inspection, NACE, manufacturing inspection IF\-AT, IF\-CT, IF\-PP—are desirable. * A completed undergraduate degree or technological degree in a related field is desirable. * Proven experience in Quality Control. * Proven experience in Oil & Gas. * Knowledge of Quality Systems and Tools. * Basic knowledge of technical drawing. * Knowledge of Assembly Methods and Processes. * Ability to read circuit/hydraulic flow diagrams. * Intermediate-level English language proficiency. * Knowledge of Testing/Examinations \- Hydraulics \& API. * Knowledge of Machining, Welding, NDT, and Coating. * Instrument assembly, calibration, and maintenance. * Argumentation and negotiation skills. * Effective communication. * Organization and planning. * Flexibility. * Problem-solving ability. * Creative thinking. * Interpersonal relationships. * Ethics and collaboration. **Work in a way that works for you** We recognize that everyone is different and that the way people want to work—and give their best—is also different for each individual. **Working with us** Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
