Job Summary: The Junior Occupational Safety Technician will work the third shift, implementing environmental, health, and safety policies and promoting the Zero-Accident Culture. Key Highlights: 1. Inspection of machinery and work environments, as well as support for safety standards. **Eaton is seeking a Junior Occupational Safety Technician to work in Mogi Mirim.** **Please attach your updated resume in PDF or WORD format in the designated field.** *If you are an internal candidate (\#E), please apply via Eaton Jobs (Intranet \> Joe \> EatonJobs)* **Responsibilities** -------------- **The candidate will be responsible for performing the following activities during the third shift:** Implement environmental, health, and safety policies; conduct educational activities; monitor expert assessments and accident investigations; manage documentation control; and promote quality of life, sustainability, Zero-Accident Culture, and legal compliance. **Essential Functions:** * Inspect machinery, work environments, and methods in accordance with safety standards and PPE usage requirements. * Support safety standards, machine guarding, SIPAT, CIPA, and preventive campaigns. Monitor brigade training, detect leaks, and participate in emergency prevention and response drills. Develop PPE and fire-fighting suppliers through technical visits, quotations, and accreditation. * Contribute to employee engagement, process improvement, and compliance with Eaton’s standards and values. Manage MSDS and chemical safety data sheets; train users; ensure storage and disposal per environmental regulations and ISO/TS 16949\. **Additional Information:** * Promote safety and health awareness through communications, CIPA, SIPAT, and lectures per NR-05\. * Perform risk assessment and authorization; issue reports; and verify documentation per safety standards. * Authorize waste and scrap removal; complete manifests and invoices; register with IBAMA; and comply with environmental regulations. Issue Accident Communication Forms (CATs); collect accident data; prepare reports; and present them to CIPA per applicable legislation. * Schedule and monitor quarterly pest control services to ensure a clean workplace per legal requirements. Obtain required legal permits for new areas and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and official approvals. * \#LI\-IM1 **Qualifications** ----------------- **Mandatory:** * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety * Minimum 6 months’ experience in manufacturing * Availability to work the third shift and cover other shifts as needed **Desirable:** * Basic English proficiency * Basic Microsoft Office skills * Prior experience working the third shift We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
