About the job We are seeking a Laboratory Technician II to join our EDP factory in Poços de Caldas/MG. This role plays a critical part in ensuring food quality and safety through the execution and critical analysis of physical-chemical, microbiological, and organoleptic laboratory test results for in-process products, finished products, and raw materials. * Perform physical-chemical, microbiological, and organoleptic laboratory analyses on in-process products, finished products, and raw materials. * Ensure reliability, traceability, and integrity of laboratory results by adhering to internal procedures and corporate standards. * Critically interpret analytical results, identifying potential deviations, risks, and required actions. * Support technical decision-making by contributing to non-conformance handling, corrective actions, and continuous improvement opportunities. * Ensure compliance with Quality and Food Safety standards, applicable legal requirements—including MAPA/ANVISA—and corporate guidelines. * Prepare, standardize, and control reagents and culture media used in laboratory analyses. * Perform calibration, verification, and monitoring of analytical equipment to ensure availability and reliability. * Work across various laboratory routines and areas—such as Microbiology, UHT, Sensory Evaluation, and Protein—as operational needs require. * Record data, results, and evidence accurately, systematically, and reliably. * Contribute to production continuity, cost control, operational efficiency, and maintenance of the factory’s quality standards. * Strictly comply with Safety, Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations. About you * Technical education in Chemistry, Food Science, or related fields. * Undergraduate studies in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmacy, or related disciplines—either ongoing or completed—is considered a plus. * Experience in laboratory activities. * Knowledge of physical-chemical, microbiological, and sensory/organoleptic analyses. * Solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practices. * Proficiency in preparing and standardizing reagents and culture media. * Experience with calibration, verification, and routine maintenance of analytical equipment. * Familiarity with applicable legislation—including MAPA/ANVISA—and corporate quality standards. * Availability and flexibility to work across diverse laboratory routines and factory interfaces.
