Teamwork and safety focus * **Machine Operation**: Operate heavy equipment, including **motor graders** (also known as "graders"), **patrols**, **backhoes**, and others, to perform land grading and site preparation. * **Soil Leveling**: Control ground elevation according to project specifications, adjusting terrain height and slope. * **Site Grading**: Perform cuts and fills, precisely distributing and compacting soil to ensure the surface is ready for subsequent construction phases. * **Drawing Interpretation**: Follow instructions and specifications provided by engineers or site technicians, interpreting drawings to ensure land preparation aligns with the plan. * **Equipment Inspection**: Conduct daily inspections of equipment to verify proper operation and report any issues for maintenance. * **Teamwork**: Collaborate with other construction professionals, including engineers, foremen, and operators of other equipment. * **Safety**: Adhere to workplace safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring safety on the construction site.
