Description

Perform the assembly of metal structures and mechanical components according to designs and technical specifications, carrying out necessary adjustments and ensuring full functionality of assembled systems, in compliance with quality and safety standards. Our commitment is to follow best management practices and meet all applicable requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of our products, processes, and services. **Responsibilities and Duties** Read and interpret drawings, applying technical knowledge in accordance with applicable standards, to initiate product execution as per the design. * Perform self-inspection of materials to ensure quality throughout subsequent activities, using visual analysis, measuring instruments, and reference to the design, so that all materials comply before execution. * Perform layout of shapes on the plane using measuring instruments and appropriate tools to prepare the base for jig assembly. * Assemble jigs using overhead cranes and referencing shapes laid out on the plane to begin the body assembly phase. * Install piping systems using overhead cranes and accessories, following the design, to ensure correct component positioning. * Assemble caps and accessories with support from the design and instruments, placing each item in its respective position. * Carry out squaring, leveling, alignment, or straightening operations on parts using the design, laser level, torch, and other hand tools to ensure maximum dimensional accuracy as defined in the design. * Perform weld tacking during the assembly phase using welding equipment to position parts and release them for full welding. * Perform cutting with a torch, supported by the design and technical knowledge, to adjust parts and ensure dimensional accuracy. * Assist in conducting leak-tightness/pneumatic tests using devices and compressed air to ensure quality prior to sending items to the testing department. * Record executed activities using the electronic time-tracking system to ensure traceability of process stages and verification of actual vs. planned results. * Apply sealants, bolts, rivets, or weld tacks for fixation and adjustments during assembly and installation of structures. * Perform other related tasks of similar nature and complexity level, according to organizational environment demands. **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum education: Incomplete or completed elementary school. * Desired education: Vocational training. * Preferred field of study: Technical or vocational course in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields. * Desired experience: 1 to 2 years. * Experience details: Minimum 2 years of experience in related activities, preferably in metal structure or mechanical component assembly. **Additional Information** **Chartered transportation or transportation allowance** – for greater convenience in your daily routine. **Life insurance** – protection for you and peace of mind for your family. **Health and dental plans** – we care about your physical health and your smile. **Pharmacy benefit program** – more convenience to purchase medications with exclusive discounts. **On-site meals** – ensuring your meals are always provided. **Lumar Metals Academy** – access to a corporate education platform offering various courses to develop your skills and advance your career. **Wellhub (Gympass)** – access to gyms, studios, and physical activities to care for your well-being. **Clube Lumar + Benefits** – opportunities, discounts, partnerships, and many conveniences that make your daily life even better.
