Implement operational improvements We are seeking an **Operations Supervisor I** to oversee our daily operations at one of our warehouses. Key responsibilities include coordinating the operational team, ensuring that receiving and shipping processes are correctly followed. In addition to monitoring the quality and efficiency of operations and resolving issues promptly and effectively, this supervisor will support the implementation of operational improvements. ### **Key Responsibilities** * **Team Supervision:** Manage and guide the team, ensuring tasks are performed correctly and on time. * **Process Monitoring:** Ensure that receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes comply with established procedures. * **Quality Control:** Verify operational quality, ensuring products are handled properly to prevent damage. * **Workplace Safety:** Ensure all team members follow safety regulations to minimize accident risks. * **Problem Resolution:** Identify and resolve immediate operational issues, maintaining operational continuity. * **Operational Reporting:** Record and report daily activities, including problems and implemented solutions; * **Training and Development:** Assist in onboarding and training new employees; * **Equipment Management:** Monitor proper equipment usage and request maintenance when necessary; * **Implementation of Improvements:** Suggest and implement basic operational improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness; * **Partner Driver Relations:** Communicate\-regularly with partner drivers to build relationships and identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities; ### **Technical Requirements** **Success in this role requires individuals who demonstrate:** * **Proactivity:** Anticipate problems and take initiative to resolve them before they impact operations; * **Effective Communication:** Convey information clearly and concisely to team members and supervisors; * **Leadership:** Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment; * **Organization:** Keep operations organized and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently; * **Attention to Detail:** Ensure processes are followed precisely to maintain quality and safety; * **Flexibility:** Adapt quickly to changes and new challenges while maintaining operational efficiency; * **Safety Focus:** Prioritize workplace safety by adhering to and enforcing all safety rules and procedures; * **Problem Solving:** Address problems effectively and efficiently, finding quick and practical solutions; * **Teamwork:** Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve common goals; * **Results Orientation:** Maintain focus on operational goals and continuously seek process and productivity improvements; ### **Behavioral Profile** **Desirable qualifications for this position:** * Technical or undergraduate degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields is desirable; * Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably with some supervisory or team leadership experience; * Familiarity with management systems, Excel spreadsheets, and other logistics technology tools; **Address:** Av.
