Job Summary: A warehouse assistant is responsible for manual movement and organization of products, ensuring safety and quality, as well as collaborating on process improvements. Key Highlights: 1. A warehouse assistant is responsible for the manual movement of products within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with handling standards aimed at preserving product quality and ensuring personal and third-party safety. Morning Shift: Start activities with a focus on Safety \- Goods receipt and warehouse replenishment \- Preparation of shipments for the next shift \- Cleaning and organizing the area after receipt \- Repackaging products as required. Afternoon Shift: Start activities with a focus on Safety \- Continuation of Morning Shift activities \- Shipment dispatch for same-day deliveries \- Reorganization of containers and support to the logistics team \- Reinforcement of safety practices and quality control \- Support in maintaining warehouse organization. Night Shift: Start activities with a focus on Safety \- Responsible for supporting agile, safe, and organized vehicle loading during the night shift, ensuring productivity, product quality, and customer satisfaction \- Assembling loads on pallets according to customer orders \- Emphasis on cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of the warehouse for the following day \- Support and reorganization tasks for materials \- Collaborate in seeking process improvements by suggesting strategies that enhance productivity, quality, and safety during the night shift. Responsibilities: Organization and Maintenance: Clean, organize, and arrange products and assets according to the defined layout; Safeguard company assets (vehicles, equipment, resources, and facilities); Product Movement and Handling: Perform product picking and loading according to issued invoices and instructions in the unit’s warehouse management application; Verify load volumes, coordinating with the Team Leader or checker to ensure compliance; Report anomalies or discrepancies identified during loading (e.g., damages, missing items, damaged packaging); Verify load volumes, coordinating with the Team Leader or checker to ensure compliance; Operate pallet jacks and other operational equipment safely. Safety and Regulations: Comply with company and client procedures, regulations, and specifications; Correctly wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain safety during cargo handling and task execution. Operational Efficiency: Manage time effectively to perform tasks accurately and efficiently. Commit to operationally defined goals jointly established with the client, DPO/VPO, and Excellence Program. Maintain effective communication to ensure coordination and collaboration within the warehouse; Perform related duties as requested by supervisors. Demonstrate personal and professional behavior appropriate to the role. Attend training and development sessions provided by the company, applying knowledge in daily operations; Collaborate in seeking process improvements by suggesting strategies that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
