Ensure attainment of operational targets as well as compliance with company-established safety, quality, and environmental standards. Review Operational Work Instructions, staying updated on information provided by Supervision and Engineering, as well as incidents recorded during previous shifts. Operate unit equipment via the Control Panel and/or directly in the field when required, performing visual inspections of panels and monitors. Monitor chemical and physical analytical results from fertilizer production units. Record operational parameters—including pressure, flow rate, temperature, alignment, and other variables—in daily reports, making necessary adjustments using appropriate commands. Monitor equipment operating conditions based on inputs from respective department leads, issuing service orders when needed and routing them to the responsible department. Authorize and oversee execution of work involving Service Orders (SO), Work Permits (WP), Confined Space Entry Permits, and Working at Heights Permits—ensuring all safety requirements are met. Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition and that all work is performed safely. Identify equipment maintenance and cleaning needs, updating the machine shutdown plan jointly with shift supervision. Develop and review operational procedures for startup and shutdown (planned and emergency) across plant areas. Monitor and analyze laboratory results relevant to the area, evaluating data and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Maintain constant communication with your supervisor, related units, and service-providing companies—supplying timely information and remaining available for inquiries.
