It began its clinical operations on January 03, 2011, with gradual implementation, progressively expanding the number of beds offered to Uberlândia’s public health network. To serve the medium-complexity healthcare needs of Uberlândia/MG’s population—estimated at approximately 600,000 inhabitants—the HMMDOLC operates in full partnership with Uberlândia’s Municipal Health Secretariat, focusing on referrals from primary care units requiring secondary-level resolution, with a model structured around hospital admissions, outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services.
