Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for ensuring site security by implementing preventive measures, conducting inspections, and performing visible security activities to protect people and assets. RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE PERFORMED: Monitor the area to ensure site security, maintaining vigilance over personnel and vehicle movement. Implement preventive measures to maintain post security. Conduct inspections within the post perimeter. Maintain a firm yet courteous demeanor toward customers and their staff. Provide any information or assistance requested by the immediate supervisor. Perform visible security duties to promote the safety of people, facilities, and materials, deterring and preventing actions harmful to the client’s interests—whether criminal or not—while complying with legal requirements. Follow all directives and procedures established for the assigned post. Prepare daily shift/post reports as stipulated by the company. Be responsible for safeguarding assigned materials (firearms, documentation, and post equipment). Complete necessary documents required for job performance (e.g., guard logbook and time card). In case of an incident, act proactively according to established procedures, preserving one’s own life and the property entrusted to one’s care. Other duties inherent to the position.
