"This position is also open to persons with disabilities or rehabilitated individuals." **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop conceptual engineering and industrial layouts, defining technical solutions aligned with operational needs and the pet food process. * Review and validate third-party projects, technical memoranda, scopes, and specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with corporate standards. * Master production line technologies and equipment (extruders, dryers, mills, coaters, baggers, etc.), proposing improvements and standardizations. * Participate in field execution and monitoring of projects, ensuring technical compliance, assembly quality, safety, and scope adherence. * Support coordinators in CAPEX project management, including scope definition, technical interface, risk analysis, cost estimation, and scheduling. * Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, SSMA, Quality, Procurement, and suppliers to develop integrated and technically robust solutions. * Contribute to feasibility studies, technology selection, and identification of appropriate equipment for the process and unit requirements. Promote continuous improvement in production processes by identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency, safety, and reliability. * Ensure sound engineering practices, compliance with regulations, industrial safety standards, and regulatory requirements. * Document lessons learned, propose practice standardization, and support the technical evolution of plants and corporate projects. **Requirements and Qualifications** Education * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Automation Engineering, or related fields. * Preferred: MBA in Project Management or related areas. Technical Knowledge and Tools * Preferred knowledge of industrial processes and technologies applied to pet food production (extrusion, drying, grinding, coating, bagging, bulk solids handling, etc.). * Ability to develop and review conceptual projects, layouts, technical memoranda, process flow diagrams, P\&IDs, and technical specifications. * Familiarity with managing multidisciplinary projects involving civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering. * Proficiency in project tools: AutoCAD, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI. * Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools such as PMBOK.
