




We are looking for a **Soil Laboratory Technician** to conduct laboratory and field tests to ensure that fill materials, subgrade, and drainage base materials meet project specifications and technical standards, thereby ensuring the quality and durability of Comdarpe’s construction projects. **Main Responsibilities** * **Compaction Control:** Perform **Proctor** tests (Determination of Compaction Curve) and **CBR** (California Bearing Ratio) and Swell tests. * **Field Tests:** Conduct **In Situ Density** tests (Sand Cone Method) and rapid moisture content determination (Hot Plate or Speedy method). * **Drainage and Soils:** Carry out grain size analysis tests for selection of filtering and draining materials (crushed stone and sand), ensuring required permeability. * **Quarry Monitoring:** Support prospecting and soil sampling at quarries to validate material quality prior to transportation to site. * **Technical Reports:** Complete daily technological control reports, recording compaction degree (CD) and moisture content deviations. **Technical Requirements** * **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in infrastructure projects, with focus on earthworks and drainage infrastructure. * **Technical Standards:** Proficiency in **ABNT NBR 7182** (Compaction), **NBR 7181** (Grain Size Analysis), and specific **DNIT/DER** standards. * **Education:** Completed high school. A technical course in Building Construction, Roads, or Geotechnics is considered an advantage. * **Driver’s License:** Category B driver’s license (for travel between work fronts). **Desired Competencies** * Analytical and rigorous profile with strong quality standards. * Ability to read pavement and drainage design drawings. * Organizational skills for sample management and test scheduling.
