We welcome individuals who enrich our team, regardless of nationality, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other differences. **Join us in our mission to provide food for the world!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform activities in compliance with the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and procedures; * Perform sample receipt, collection, and preparation according to procedures, applying all necessary unit operations: homogenization, quartering, filtration, drying, grinding, and pulverization; * Conduct granulometric, moisture, and solids content analyses on samples; * Perform chemical analyses of process samples using instrumental techniques; * Perform wet chemical analyses using volumetric, gravimetric, and colorimetric methods; * Prepare and standardize reference solutions and cleaning solutions for laboratory equipment; * Perform minor equipment maintenance as per procedure, including cleaning to prevent sample contamination; * Propose revisions to laboratory procedures based on observation and/or research, identifying possible improvements toward continuous enhancement; * Verify measurement instrument reliability according to the established plan; * Perform waste disposal tasks arising from conducted analyses; * Critically evaluate data and enter results into myLIMS and SAP systems to ensure quality assurance; * Make usage decisions in SAP for mining-related products; * Maintain a clean workplace as required by Good Laboratory Practices; * Report deviations in results to the immediate supervisor, triggering a laboratory investigation and proposing alternative solutions; * Train laboratory assistants and Junior Technicians; * Substitute for Senior Technicians during vacations, days off, leaves, and other absences to ensure continuity of area activities; * Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor, provided they align with the incumbent’s competencies and entail no additional risk to personal integrity. * Shift work. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Education in Chemistry or Environmental Science, with active registration at CRQ (Regional Chemistry Council). * The candidate must have prior experience in chemical analysis laboratories. * Knowledge of sample collection, identification, preparation, and archiving. * Knowledge of environmental analyses. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). * Familiarity with instrumental analysis processes (X-Ray, Plasma, Ultraviolet, Atomic Absorption). **Additional Information** **WE HAVE MANY BENEFITS WAITING FOR YOU HERE** **Health insurance for employee and dependents** **Dental insurance for employee and dependents** **Life insurance** **Meal or Food Allowance for daily use** **On-site cafeteria (subject to location)** **Maternity leave of 6 months (Citizen Company Program)** **Paternity leave of 20 days (Citizen Company Program)** **Special Support and Care Program for employees and family members** **Access to a physical activity platform: Wellhub** **Education and Language Program (per company policy)** We invite you to become part of a dynamic and talented team where you can develop your skills and grow professionally.
