




Job Summary: Responsible for various essential tasks related to proper meal preparation, ensuring flavor, quality, and hygiene, while also maintaining the kitchen environment and equipment. Work as part of a team and propose improvements to dishes Responsibilities: Involve various essential tasks for proper meal preparation, ensuring flavor, quality, and hygiene. Prepare ingredients – wash, cut, chop, grate, season, cook, and perform other necessary processes to transform ingredients into food. Portion meats – cut meat according to requirements for each preparation. Cook food \- prepare dishes according to recipes, culinary techniques, and quality standards. Plating and presentation \- ensure dishes are visually appealing. Quality control \- verify freshness and quality of food items. Maintain hygiene \- clean the kitchen area, furniture, utensils, and equipment. Follow established standards \- adhere to recipes, menus, and restaurant standards. Keep the kitchen stocked \- list required items (food, cleaning, and hygiene supplies) to plan activities, receive them, store them, and monitor expiration dates. Comply with food safety regulations \- monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines and sanitary regulations. Organize \- maintain order and organization in the kitchen, among food items, and utensils. Adjust recipes \- adapt recipes to meet dietary restrictions or customer preferences. Contribute ideas \- propose new dishes or adjustments to existing ones. Protect assets \- use utensils and equipment appropriately and inform management of any maintenance needs. Teamwork: collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow. Work location: Cabral neighborhood – Contagem. High school diploma preferred. Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Relevant experience in this role and residence near the workplace will be considered advantageous.
