You’ll learn everyone’s name — and be known by yours too. **About the Team and the Challenge** You will join the Accounting team, responsible for the accounting closing of a client portfolio — from journal entries to delivery of ancillary obligations — and act as a technical reference for those new to the field. **Your Responsibilities Here** * Analyze and close accounting for companies under Simples Nacional, Presumed Profit, and Real Profit regimes, calculating results and financial statements. * Analyze balance sheet accounts \- reconcile balances (assets, liabilities, customers, suppliers, loans, withheld taxes, payroll, among others) and propose necessary corrections, detailing their impact on assets, liabilities, and results. * Review working papers and journal entries prepared by accounting assistants — including tax and contribution calculations (IR and CSLL) \- acting as the team’s technical reference. * Prepare and present financial statements \- Balance Sheet (BP), Income Statement (DRE), Cash Flow Statement (DFC), Statement of Changes in Equity (DMPL), Value Added Statement (DVA), among others \- and ensure timely delivery of ancillary obligations such as ECD and ECF. * Create and maintain chart of accounts and perform system configuration according to accounting classification. * Record investments and financial applications, ensuring accurate information in the trial balance. * Participate in client result presentation meetings, supporting analysis with facts and data. * Coordinate internal and external audit deliveries with the execution team, reviewing work before final submission. * Propose improvements to clients’ accounting processes and maintain continuous updates on legislation and Accounting Standards. **What We Expect From You** * **Experience with Sankhya or Mário Monteiro:** You have previously posted, reconciled, or closed accounting using one of these systems — this is a prerequisite for this role. * **Mastery of Accounting Standards:** You are familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)/Brazilian Public Company Committee (CPC) standards and tax legislation applicable to each tax regime. * **Analytical Reasoning:** You understand why each journal entry is made, not just how. * **Clear Communication:** You explain well, write well, and feel comfortable speaking directly with clients. * **Calm Courage:** You can uphold a technical position without turning it into conflict. * **Genuine Organization:** You meet deadlines and document your work. * **Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting Sciences, completed or nearing completion. * **Tools:** Advanced Excel and Power Query; Power BI is a plus. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications** * Interest in technology and prior experience incorporating AI and automation into daily accounting tasks — for verification, analysis, or efficiency — or genuine interest in learning. * Experience with municipal, state, and federal tax calculations. * Prior experience supervising or reviewing work of less experienced colleagues at another company. * Ongoing or completed postgraduate studies in accounting/tax fields.
