Handling specialized tools and working at heights safely **Building Maintenance Technician \- Uberlândia MG** **Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on roofs of production and administrative buildings; * Install, replace, and fabricate gutters; * Caulk and splice gutters and flashing; * Replace and install glass in doors, windows, etc.; * Perform minor welding repairs on structures and various parts; * Perform painting repairs on walls, doors, grilles, etc.; * Carry out locksmith activities; * Work at heights using articulated platforms, scaffolds, ladders, etc.; * Prepare surfaces for painting (leveling, sanding, cleaning, etc.); * Apply various types of paint (epoxy, latex, acrylic, enamel, etc.); * Paint administrative and industrial areas; * Perform painting on sheets, carts, structures, racks, masonry, and walls; * Perform painting on building installations; * Repair and install metal parts and accessories; * Know and properly use area-specific tools for equipment handling, such as: electric welding machines and oxy-acetylene welding machines, sanders, calipers, threading machines, screwdrivers, lifting and cargo transportation systems, always under supervision and guidance from the team leader; * Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for task execution and comply with quality, safety, and environmental procedures and standards; * Ensure proper final disposal of waste generated during operations; * Guarantee compliance with quality management system standards and specifications; * Safeguard company and client assets; * Comply with internal regulations and occupational safety standards; * Perform other related duties inherent to the position. **Requirements:** Education: Elementary School Experience: 1 year Candidate Profile: Initiative and responsibility.
