Job Summary: The Refractory Furnace Operator will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and operation of high-temperature industrial structures within foundry furnaces. Key Highlights: 1. Will work on the construction and maintenance of high-temperature industrial structures. 2. Responsible for applying refractory materials in furnaces and equipment. 3. Monitors temperatures and oversees the metal melting process. An Abrasives and Shot Blasting company seeks a Refractory Furnace Operator in Vinhedo (Industrial District). **Responsibilities:** Will work on the construction, maintenance, and operation of high-temperature industrial structures within foundry furnaces, using refractory materials to line these areas, ensuring heat and corrosion resistance, and monitoring the production process. Installation and Maintenance: Apply refractory materials (bricks, concretes) to furnaces and other equipment, following technical drawings. Preparation: Prepare refractory mortars and grouts for work. Operation: Feed raw materials into furnaces, monitor temperatures, and observe gauges during firing or melting. Foundry: Oversee the metal melting process, assist with furnace cleaning activities, and control molten material. Shot Blasting: Operate machinery and equipment, bag finished products, sort products by type, and store them in designated stock areas. Comply with workplace cleaning and organization procedures, ensuring compliance with sanitary standards and contributing to maintaining a safe and appropriate working environment. Position is located in Vinhedo / SP. Previous experience as a Refractory Technician, Furnace Operator, Refractory Technician, or Refractory Materials Specialist may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. High school diploma required.
