As a **Mechanic I**, your main responsibilities will include: * Performing dimensional adjustments and tolerancing on mechanical parts; * Assisting in the preparation of technical reports; * Assisting in sheet metal cutting activities using oxy-fuel cutting sets, grinders, and electrode welding; * Assembling and disassembling rotating and reciprocating equipment according to maintenance scheduling; * Replacing packing glands and assisting in the installation of mechanical seals and gaskets; * Assembling and adjusting bearings; * Performing conventional and laser alignment between shafts; * Assisting in the planning and execution of activity plans. We seek candidates with the following **competencies**: * Ability to interpret manuals and technical drawings (desirable); * MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); * SAP (desirable); * Knowledge of measurement (Metrology); * Basic knowledge of boiler-making and welding (desirable). We expect the following **qualifications**: * Minimum completed high school education and Mechanical Technician training; * Desirable: Technical courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics. The following **experience or skills** are desirable but not mandatory: * Experience in continuous processes—preferably in paper and pulp; * Agility, self-development, initiative, pro\-activeness, attentiveness, teamwork.
