Description

Job Summary: An intern will assist with product verification, picking, packaging, and organization, as well as support shipping logistics and inventory control. Key Highlights: 1. Essential support in shipping logistics and inventory control 2. Responsibility for product verification and picking 3. Ensuring product integrity during transportation * Verify picked products prior to shipment. * Check **quantity, model, color, batch, or customization**, where applicable. * Compare goods against the **invoice, purchase order, or delivery manifest**. * Report discrepancies or inconsistencies to the department supervisor. * Perform **product picking from inventory** according to sales orders or shipping instructions. * Accurately identify **product codes, quantities, and specifications**. * Ensure picked items exactly match the customer’s order. * Package products securely to prevent **damage during transportation**. * Use appropriate materials such as **boxes, bubble wrap, tapes, and labels**. * Label packages with **destination labels or shipping codes**. * Organize orders by **delivery route, carrier, or customer**. * Prepare packages for pickup or delivery. * Maintain a **clean and organized shipping area**. * Assist in **loading goods onto vehicles or carriers**. * Help with **unloading incoming products into inventory**. * Ensure packages are safely stored. * Record **product dispatches in the system or control spreadsheets**. * Assist in managing **delivery manifests, orders, and transport documents**. * File shipping or delivery confirmations when required. * Assist in **inventory organization**. * Participate in **inventory counts or stock audits**. * Restock products on shelves as needed.
