The **Security Guard** is one of the professionals responsible for ensuring the safety of the school and its students. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Control access for students, staff, parents, visitors, and suppliers to institutional spaces. * Identify individuals and direct them to the appropriate departments within the institution. * Monitor traffic (people and vehicles) in hallways, laboratories, and external areas via images from internal security CCTV cameras. * Control student entry and, especially, exit during class hours, requiring written and signed authorization from the coordination office. * Conduct patrols during the shift in internal areas, checking and turning off equipment as needed. * Answer telephone calls when necessary. * Record incidents in a designated logbook. * Be responsible for opening and closing the school unit at times specified by the Educational Director, assuming responsibility for keys. * Follow directives from the Surveillance Supervisor and School Administration, acting professionally while maintaining respectful and courteous conduct toward school staff and users of educational services. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education. * Certificate from the Security Guard Training Course with Vigilante Refresher Training (**Up-to-date**). * Basic computer skills. * Basic knowledge of CCTV system operation. * Ability to mediate conflicts. * Good interpersonal skills. * Ability to act with maturity and composure in actions and decisions taken. * Ability to remain constantly alert. **Additional Information** **Our Benefits:** * Health Plan Assistance (per institutional policy). * Study Grants (per institutional policy). * Dental Plan (per institutional policy). * Restaurant partnership. * SESC partnership. * Uniform. * Discount on swimming and fitness center activities. **Work Schedule:** Shift-based **We believe that excellence in education transforms tomorrow.** **Our purpose is to transform the world through education.** We are a community-based, Lutheran educational institution with 99 years of history, committed to training and educating people across various life stages—always valuing human essence, adopting innovative and market-relevant teaching methodologies, and investing in excellent infrastructure to support the educational process.
