Food preparation * Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, and legumes. * Separate ingredients for the cook. * Assist in preparing simple dishes. 2\. Kitchen organization * Keep countertops, utensils, and equipment clean. * Organize food items in refrigerators and pantries. * Monitor product expiration dates and storage conditions. 3\. Hygiene and cleaning * Wash dishes, pots, and utensils. * Clean stoves, floors, and kitchen surfaces. * Dispose of garbage properly. 4\. Support to the cook * Deliver ingredients and utensils during food preparation. * Assist in plating dishes or packing meals. * Follow instructions from the chef or cook. 5\. Basic inventory control * Verify received goods. * Notify when an ingredient is running low.
