Description

Job Summary: Performs operational warehouse routines, including inventory control, material handling, and organization, with emphasis on accuracy and preservation. Key Highlights: 1. Receive, inspect, and safely store products and materials. 2. Organize parts and tools in the warehouse, maintaining proper identification. 3. Participate in periodic inventories and physical counts. **Position Objectives:** Perform operational routines for receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and delivery of materials, supporting inventory control, movement recordkeeping, and warehouse organization, under closer supervision and with focus on accuracy, item preservation, and support to work fronts. **Responsibilities:** Receive, inspect, and store products, materials, parts, and tools following instructions, organizational criteria, and safety standards. Conduct stock replenishment item assessments, flagging needs to the immediate supervisor and supporting the restocking process. Organize parts, tools, and other materials in the warehouse, maintaining identification, location addressing, and ease of retrieval. Record material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns in spreadsheets and/or systems, ensuring basic control updates. Support invoice, purchase order, quantity, and condition verification for received materials, reporting discrepancies for resolution. Pick materials to fulfill internal requisitions, returns, and shipments, organizing required documentation. Support management of warehouse documents and files, keeping them organized and up-to-date, as well as updating 5S and PPR spreadsheets. Manage the operational cash fund linked to the warehouse per instructions, internal rules, and accountability requirements defined by management. Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), recording movements and supporting supply control for employees. Participate in periodic inventories, performing physical counts and comparing results against inventory reports and records. Maintain operational contact with suppliers and carriers for routine activities such as receipt, pickup, delivery, and material confirmation. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, preservation, and discipline in compliance with 5S practices. Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
