Key responsibilities include food preparation tasks such as cutting, chopping, and organizing ingredients, following recipe instructions and food hygiene and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves cleaning and organizing the work area, ensuring that kitchen utensils—including knives, cutting boards, and pots—are always clean and in good condition. The professional will also assist in restocking ingredients and supplies, contributing to inventory control and minimizing waste. The Kitchen Assistant will participate in dish assembly and presentation, ensuring plate aesthetics meet company standards. They will also assist in cooking certain dishes under the guidance of the kitchen team, and support the preparation of salads, desserts, and other menu items.
