Develop operational strategies and tactics that guarantee maximum efficiency in resource utilization, mitigating risks and instabilities that could impact productivity, safety, costs, and service levels. Act analytically and strategically in decision-making, using performance indicators, statistical analyses, and operational data to drive continuous process improvement. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Develop, review, and execute the terminal’s operational planning, considering ship, yard, gate, and warehouse operations. * Develop operational strategies aligned with the operational control plan, ensuring optimal use of available resources. * Plan and optimize workforce, equipment, and infrastructure allocation to achieve high levels of productivity and operational efficiency. * Continuously monitor operational execution, identifying risks, constraints, and deviations, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive actions. * Serve as the technical reference for operational planning, supporting leadership decision-making. * Ensure reliability of information recorded in operational systems (TOS/Navis and corporate systems). * Develop, analyze, and track performance indicators (KPIs), preparing management reports and studies to support strategic decisions. * Conduct statistical and operational capacity analyses to optimize costs and improve terminal performance. * Collaborate with customers, shipping lines, and internal departments to ensure compliance with operational schedules and service levels. * Participate in continuous improvement projects, digital transformation, and automation initiatives for operational planning processes. * Ensure adherence to operational procedures, safety, quality, and environmental standards, proposing improvements whenever opportunities are identified. * Understand and contribute to mitigating environmental aspects and impacts related to activities. * Support the technical development of the team and perform other related duties as required by management. **Requirements and Qualifications** ### **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields. **(Mandatory)** * **Postgraduate degree or specialization in Port Management, Logistics, or related areas.
