




Job Summary: The professional will embark on industrial fishing fleets to monitor fishing operations, record data, and collect samples, as well as participate in activities related to the project. Opportunity to work on a relevant project ***Responsibilities and Duties*** Embark on industrial fishing fleets to monitor fishing operations (navigation, net deployment, and retrieval) from the vessel’s bridge, and to record catch quantities and species and collect samples on the vessel’s deck after each net retrieval; Strictly adhere to established protocols for recording data and information and collecting biological material; Input collected data and information into electronic spreadsheets or an information system; Participate in other project-related activities during periods awaiting embarkation. **Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Oceanography, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Biological Sciences; Valid Brazilian driver’s license, Category B, for fieldwork vehicle operation; Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, focus on quality and organization; Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour and 30-minute break. ***Univali values inclusion and equal opportunity; all positions are open to persons with disabilities and INSS-rehabilitated individuals.*** Employment Type: Full-time, CLT permanent contract Compensation: R$5.400,00 - R$5.600,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Education allowance * Private pension plan * Transportation allowance Education: * Bachelor’s degree completed (Mandatory) License/Certification: * Driver’s License Category B (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site
