Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures, scanning merchandise and processing payments. About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures, scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing it, and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system matching; processing payments; verifying prior authorization and making proper endorsements on the back when accepting checks; and verifying authenticity when handling cash; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its closing, counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby avoiding excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Contribute to reducing loss rates at the checkout by proactively minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** R.
