Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, scanning merchandise, collecting payments, and performing cash register closing procedures. Key Highlights: 1. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers in accordance with established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and submitting daily financial reports at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting the product code table, verifying product labels, checking weight on the scale, confirming system accuracy, processing payments, verifying prior authorization when accepting checks and making appropriate notations on the back, and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closing by counting cash, totaling amounts, signing and submitting reports to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the supervisor for resolution; Contribute to reducing losses at the front-end cashier area through preventive measures such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc. Maintain the work area and equipment in optimal working condition and cleanliness; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, including shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiration date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% in-person position **Work location:** Av.
