




Job Summary: Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting execution, including handling explosives and loading blastholes. Key Highlights: 1. Safe and inclusive work environment Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting execution. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Unload accessories and explosives at the magazine and retrieve them for field use. * Supply UMBs and UMRs with required materials. * Prepare pre\-cut material and load and secure it onto the blast bench. * Isolate the area to be loaded and distribute accessories on the blast bench according to instructions from the immediate supervisor. * Support field operations, including signage/isolation of the area to be loaded, loading blastholes with UMBs/UMRs, stemming blastholes, tying charges (pyrotechnic or electronic blasting), and inspecting the blast bench prior to detonation—verifying leftover accessories, explosives, materials, delay connectors, brinell, detonating cord, and electronic initiation system cables. * Assist in loading explosives and inserting the hose into blastholes; notify the operator upon commencement and completion of pumping for each blasthole. * Clear blocked blastholes when necessary and assist in verifying blasthole length. * Perform verification and stemming of loaded blastholes as directed by the immediate supervisor. * Notify the operator regarding remaining material in the vehicle to be used, for possible replenishment needs. * Verify the quantity of leftover material (accessories) from the previous shift for possible reuse. * Conduct reading procedures for accessories and explosives and allocate them to their respective storage plans. * Conduct return reading procedures for accessories and explosives at the end of each workday. * Assist the immediate supervisor in inspecting the completed workface. * Inform the immediate supervisor about working area conditions if any non\-conformities exist (e.g., loose rocks, gases, pollution, etc.). * Notify the operator to initiate hose cleaning, coiling, and retrieval. * Assist in establishing a secured perimeter, restricting entry of equipment and personnel during the detonation process. * Operate light vehicles when licensed and duly trained. * Maintain and clean equipment used in the activity. * Support other departmental activities when required and under supervision of the immediate supervisor. * Assist the Operator in minor maintenance tasks for UMBs, compressors, diaphragm pumps, EBEs, and Nitrite Skids. **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum education level:**Completed Elementary School**Desired education level:**High School in progress** With over five decades of presence in Brazil, we are Enaex Brasil, a subsidiary of Enaex S.A.—a Chilean company with over 100 years of history and part of the Sigdo Koppers Group.
