




Job Summary: Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting execution, including handling of explosives and loading of blast holes. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on safety and worksite inspection Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting execution. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Unload accessories and explosives at the magazine, as well as withdraw them for field use. * Supply UMBs and UMRs with required products. * Prepare pre\-cut materials and load and secure them onto the bench. * Isolate the area to be loaded and distribute accessories onto the bench according to instructions from the immediate supervisor. * Support field operations, including signage/isolation of the area to be loaded, loading of blast holes with UMBs/UMRs, stemming of blast holes, tying (pyrotechnic or electronic blasting), and bench inspection prior to blasting—verifying leftover accessories, explosives, materials, and delay connectors, brinel, detonating cord, and electronic initiation system cables. * Assist in loading detonators and inserting the hose into blast holes; communicate start and end of pumping for each hole. * Clear blocked blast holes when necessary and assist in verifying blast hole depth. * Perform verification and stemming of loaded blast holes as instructed by the immediate supervisor. * Inform the operator about material remaining in the vehicle for possible replenishment needs. * Verify quantity of leftover material (accessories) used in the previous shift for possible reuse. * Conduct reading procedures for accessories and explosives and allocate them to their respective plans. * Conduct return reading procedures for accessories and explosives at the end of each work shift. * Assist the immediate supervisor in inspecting completed work fronts. * Report to the immediate supervisor any non\-conformities observed at the worksite (e.g., loose rocks, gases, pollution, etc.). * Instruct the operator to begin cleaning the hose, then coil and retrieve it. * Assist in area confinement, restricting entry of equipment and personnel during the detonation process. * Operate light vehicles when licensed and duly trained. * Maintain and clean equipment used in the activity. * Support activities in other areas when necessary and under supervision of the immediate supervisor. * Assist the Operator in minor maintenance tasks on UMBs, compressors, diaphragm pumps, EBEs, and Nitrite Skids. **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum education level:**Completed Elementary School**Desired education level:**High School in progress** With over five decades of presence in Brazil, we are Enaex Brasil, a subsidiary of Enaex S.A.—a Chilean company with over 100 years of history and part of the Sigdo Koppers Group.
