Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the maintenance of facilities, appliances, and electrical equipment, as well as preventive and corrective building and mechanical maintenance. Continuous updating of operational procedures **Job Responsibilities:** * Assist in maintaining facilities, appliances, and electrical equipment, guided by blueprints, schematics, instructions, and other documents, and perform minor repairs to meet building maintenance requirements. * Assist in preventive and corrective building maintenance, as well as mechanical and electrical maintenance of laboratory technical equipment. * Assist in building maintenance related to laboratory internal construction and renovation projects. * Perform general plumbing maintenance, repairing or replacing water tanks, showers, floor drains, valves, and faucets as needed. * Complete scheduled service orders by filling out the designated form. * Request purchase of necessary parts and components from the immediate supervisor. * Perform tasks in accordance with operational procedures, and continuously update knowledge of departmental procedures and processes to support continuous improvement. * Perform related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor. **Prerequisites:** * Completed technical course in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering. * Basic computer skills (Intermediate Excel proficiency is considered an advantage). * Residence in Currais Novos/RN.
