The role focuses on backend development with Java, delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions for dental clinics and practices. Responsibilities include active participation in sprint cycles, developing robust and stable APIs, implementing automated tests, and contributing to code reviews and best practices in software architecture and design. We seek a candidate with solid experience in Java Web, REST APIs, relational databases, and familiarity with modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Play Framework). This person will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our solutions while collaborating in an agile, inclusive, and multidisciplinary environment. **Key Responsibilities and Duties:** Collaborate with the team throughout sprint cycles; Develop stable, reliable, and maintainable code; Design solutions with efficiency, scalability, and stability in mind; Conduct risk/feasibility analysis; Implement unit and integration tests to ensure product reliability and stability; Deploy new system versions and support other team members; Gather and process technical and project requirements; Participate in discussions on development best practices and processes; Improve your own and others’ code through code reviews; **Requirements and Technical Qualifications:** Solid Java web knowledge; Experience developing APIs; Unit testing experience; Familiarity with frameworks such as Play Framework, Spring Boot, or Micronaut; Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL); Familiarity with version control tools (Git); In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language; Understanding of Clean Code principles and Design Patterns; Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment with rapid deliveries; **Desirable Differentiators:** Experience with Agile methodologies; Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.); Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB); Familiarity with MicroProfile; JavaScript knowledge; **Soft Skills:** Someone who enjoys communicating, is proactive, and uses creativity to find solutions; Data-driven and interested in collecting data; Eager to contribute diverse ideas to improve team practices and processes; Empathetic and detail-oriented; Committed to continuous learning; **Benefits Offered:** VA/VR of R$1000.00 | iFood card – no deduction during vacation; Remote Work Allowance of R$150.00; Wellz – mental health/Psychotherapy | No cost to the employee; Gympass – physical health/Gyms | Extendable to dependents; Guapeco – pet health plan; English classes | No cost to the employee; Unimed health plan | With co-payment; Coworking daily allowance reimbursement | Available for all states; Extended parental leave (maternity and paternity); Newborn welcome basket for expecting parents; Farmasesi pharmacy discount program | SC only; Sesi education program discount | SC only; Birthday day off; ;
