If you receive any payment request or job offer outside Gupy, please be cautious — this is not part of our recruitment practice. **Responsibilities and duties** **You will be responsible for:** **Execution and evolution (current product base)** * Develop, evolve, and maintain Conexa AI’s core services (ms\-agency, ms\-ai\-gatekeeper, and adjacent components), focusing on accuracy, scalability, security, and observability. * Design and implement generative and agentic AI capabilities in production: agents, RAG pipelines, workflow orchestration, integration with LLMs, and external tools via MCPs. * Build and evolve distributed multi\-stack systems (Node.js, Python, Java), including RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and streaming pipelines. * Integrate microservices, legacy systems, and AI platforms, ensuring consistency, resilience, and traceability of communications and agent decisions. * Work with message queues and event\-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, BullMQ) for asynchronous processing and orchestration of conversational and agentic flows. * Model, optimize, and maintain relational, non\-relational, and vector databases — including embedding strategies, caching, and eventual consistency. * Occasionally contribute to the product’s front\-end (React/TypeScript) when delivery flow requires it. * Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues in multi\-tenant production environments, including non\-deterministic behaviors typical of LLM\-based systems. * Ensure code quality through automated testing, agent evaluations (evals), and sound software engineering practices. **Innovation and scope expansion** * Identify and propose new applications of generative/agentic AI across the Conexa ecosystem — beyond Conexa AI — based on real product or operational pain points. * Rapidly prototype (spikes, POCs) AI feature hypotheses before committing to full implementation, validating technical feasibility and business value. * Actively participate in defining where and how AI should be applied in the team’s roadmap — not only executing specifications from Product. * Bring state\-of\-the\-art AI knowledge (new models, agent techniques, evaluation methods, tooling) to the team and assess pragmatic adoption. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Design, QA, Data, AI) to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business goals, bringing technical perspective to the prioritization of new ideas. * Participate in agile ceremonies and actively contribute to the team’s technical and strategic evolution. **Requirements and qualifications** **We expect from you:** * Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS, including strict TypeScript proficiency and microservice architecture expertise. * Strong experience with Java and Spring (Boot, Data, Security) as one of the primary stacks used in the Conexa ecosystem. * Experience with Python (FastAPI or equivalent) applied to service and API development — especially in generative AI contexts. * Hands\-on experience building AI agents, RAG pipelines, and integrations with LLMs in production — regardless of specific framework (LangChain, LlamaIndex, custom orchestration, etc.). What matters is mastery of fundamentals, not the tool. * Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools (e.g., n8n or equivalents) — willingness to learn the team’s chosen tool, even without prior experience. * Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), including modeling, complex queries, and performance tuning. * Practical experience with non\-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis) and event\-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, BullMQ). * Familiarity with vector databases and principles of embeddings/semantic search — regardless of platform (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, pgvector, etc.). * Experience designing and versioning RESTful APIs and WebSockets. * Ability to read and evolve React/TypeScript front\-end code when needed to unblock delivery — without requiring specialization in that layer. * Regular, advanced use of agentic AI tools in development (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar), with capacity to critically review generated suggestions and customize the environment (including MCPs) to maximize team productivity. * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and multidisciplinary squads. * Analytical, proactive profile with strong ownership — comfortable proposing, prototyping, and advocating for initiatives of your own, not just executing third\-party requests. * Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and product decisions in highly ambiguous environments typical of AI products. **Knowledge that sets you apart:** * Prior experience leading or driving AI initiatives from scratch (0 to 1\) — not only evolving established AI products. * Experience applying observability to AI systems: structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and monitoring of agent/prompt quality. * Experience with AWS and cloud architecture. * Prior experience in digital health, healthtech, or similarly regulated domains. * Active, up\-to\-date interest in generative/agentic AI research and developments (new models, techniques, papers, tools). **Additional information** **CAJU Card**, monthly credit of R$ 1\.059,00 distributed across categories: Meals, Food, Mobility, Health, Home Office, Culture, and Education; **AMIL S450 Health Plan – APTO**, with 30% co\-payment for consultations and exams and 40% for emergency care; extendable to legal dependents (spouses and/or children up to age 24); dependent fees are deducted from payroll.
