Our primary challenge is to enhance data discoverability across the organization, empowering teams to become increasingly analytical and use our tools autonomously. Today, the product is evolving into an in-house solution, reducing dependency on third-party market offerings and unlocking greater value generation for the company. As a Specialist, you will be challenged to elevate this technical bar by designing architecture and leading engineering solutions for our product. **What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?** * **Software Engineering:** Build and develop APIs, services, and microservices (Python with Flask/FastAPI) to orchestrate and serve data efficiently, securely, and observably. * **Architecture and Evolution:** Exercise autonomy in architecting solutions and proposing improvements to existing and new products, ensuring scalability and flexibility in the cloud (GCP). * **Frontend and UX:** Enhance the user interface of our internal products (React), ensuring intuitive and high-performance user journeys. * **Data Orchestration:** Implement and maintain automated workflows using Airflow (Composer) for data process automation and monitoring. * **Governance and Reusability:** Collaborate cross-functionally to promote component reuse and establish standards that streamline engineering team activities. * **Technical Leadership:** Serve as a technical reference for both backend and frontend, actively participating in code quality reviews (PRs) and acting as an approver. * **People Development:** Contribute to the technical and professional growth of team members—and colleagues across other teams—supporting collective advancement. * **Data-Driven Culture and Quality:** Ensure data integrity and security, grounding all decisions in reliable metrics and sound development practices. * **Ownership and Autonomy:** Operate with an "owner mindset," proactively suggesting continuous improvements, adapting swiftly to scope changes, and delivering tangible value to our users. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What Do You Need to Have or Know?** * **Proficiency in Python:** Solid backend development experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar. * **Frontend with React:** Experience building modern interfaces using JavaScript and React. * **Systems Architecture:** Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed architectures, and API (REST/GraphQL) design and consumption. * **Data Expertise:** Proficiency in SQL and experience designing and implementing data loading architectures for Data Lake / Data Warehouse. * **Cloud Computing:** Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP (Google Cloud Platform), and Big Data concepts. * **Orchestration:** Experience with Airflow (Composer) or related tools. * **Agile Mindset:** Ability to work autonomously in dynamic environments, focused on innovation and adaptability. * Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to act as a reference for code quality and best practices. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Prior experience with data cataloging solutions/tools.
