Ready for a career that delivers greater returns? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop scalable, secure, and highly available software tailored for mission-critical applications handling large volumes of data. * Lead the conception, development, and implementation of new features and products, ensuring timely delivery and continuous evolution. * Define and evolve application architecture, considering scalability, performance, and maintainability. * Create solutions that simplify processes and enhance customer experience. * Plan, estimate, and analyze impacts and risks associated with application changes. * Define and monitor quality, availability, and performance metrics for developed applications. * Collaborate across various company departments and Business Teams to understand needs and propose technical solutions. * Partner with the Security team to ensure platform reliability, integrity, and protection. * Contribute to the evolution of the team’s technical practices by sharing knowledge through initiatives such as Dojo and Pair Programming. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. * Experience developing with Java. * Experience using Git for source code versioning. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Strong knowledge of API modeling, documentation, and implementation. * Experience with relational and non-relational databases. * Hands-on experience with distributed, resilient, scalable, and high-performance architectures. * Experience with message brokers and streaming platforms. * Knowledge of distributed batch processing. * Experience applying software engineering best practices—including automated testing, security, monitoring, and documentation. **Additional Information** **To stand out in this role, the following are considered advantages:** * Experience developing microservices. * Experience with Cloud Computing, especially AWS. * Experience working in Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices. * Experience with DevOps practices. * Knowledge of Specification-Driven Development (Spec-Driven Development). * Knowledge of Front-End development. **Work Model** * Hybrid work model for professionals residing in São Paulo, with **one day per week worked onsite at the office**. * For professionals residing **more than 90 km from the office**, the work model is **fully remote (Full Home Office)**.
