Support development and infrastructure squads **Job Description:** \\We are looking for a professional responsible for managing, supporting, optimizing, and evolving cloud environments, ensuring availability, security, performance, and operational efficiency. This role involves operational support, automation, cloud service implementation, and support for development and infrastructure squads. The candidate should possess moderate technical autonomy and the ability to propose improvements. **Responsibilities:** \\Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software in collaboration with other teams; \\Administer cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP), performing provisioning, configuration adjustments, monitoring, and optimizations. \\Deploy and maintain essential services such as VMs, virtual networks, managed databases, storage, load balancers, and managed services. \\Monitor environments, analyze alerts, and respond to incidents and problems. \\Apply security best practices, including identity management, permissions, policies, encryption, and compliance. \\Automate tasks and environments using scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. \\Support implementations and deployments by integrating with CI/CD pipelines. \\Track cloud costs and identify optimization opportunities (rightsizing, reserved instances, etc.). \\Document architectures, changes, and procedures to build a knowledge base. \\Collaborate with DevOps, FinOps, Security, and Development teams to ensure solution consistency. **Additional Duties:** \\Collaborate with other developers on software projects; \\Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing software; \\Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality; \\Write clean, well-documented code that meets business and technical requirements; \\Work closely with other teams—including software quality and infrastructure engineering—to ensure platform consistency and scalability. **Other Requirements, Qualifications, Tools, Skills, Courses, and Certifications:** \\Practical experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms: AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ALB/NLB Azure: VMs, VNet, Storage, NSG, Azure AD, SQL Database, Monitor GCP: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC, Monitoring \\Networking and Security Configuration of VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, NAT, VPN, peering. IAM/RBAC management, roles, policies, and least privilege practices. Firewalls, security groups, certificates, encryption, MFA. Automation & IaC Experience with Terraform (preferred). Knowledge of CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Deployment Manager. Scripting in Shell, Python, or PowerShell. \\Observability Monitoring with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, or equivalents. Structured logs, dashboards, alerts, and diagnostics. Containers and Managed Services (bonus) Basic to intermediate Docker and Kubernetes. Usage of ECS, EKS, AKS, or GKE (partial experience acceptable at mid-level). \\Governance and Cost Management Understanding of FinOps: cost analysis, optimization, and usage recommendations. Tags, standards, naming conventions, and compliance. Success Metrics Reduction of incidents and failures in cloud environments. More stable, secure, and properly configured infrastructures. Automated and reproducible environments using IaC. Cost improvements without performance degradation. Agile deliveries aligned with corporate standards. Clear and up-to-date documentation. **Desired Education and Certifications** Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
