### **Take a look at the challenges awaiting you as a Senior Backend Developer - Java at BV:** * Develop BV's new Credit Showcase, ensuring our customers have access to personalized, real-time credit offers. * Design and implement efficient integrations using messaging systems to support complex workflows asynchronously. * Adopt and promote modern architectural patterns (e.g., Hexagonal Architecture and *Contract First* approach) to ensure healthy decoupling, maintainability, and clean service orchestration. * Ensure end-to-end quality of the ecosystem through test automation and sound software design and coding practices. * Actively collaborate with peers and other stakeholders. ### **So, do you identify with this? Now we’d like to know whether you possess the following profile and knowledge:** * Experience developing backend systems in Java (Java 11 or later). * Solid knowledge of frameworks and ORM: Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security. * Proficiency in modern architectural patterns: Hexagonal Architecture and API contracts (*Contract First*). * Practical experience orchestrating microservices and using messaging tools / cloud-based messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka, GCP PubSub). * Consistent experience writing unit tests with JUnit. * Soft skills, including proactive communication and adaptive collaboration. ### **It’s a plus if you have:** * Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with monitoring and observability tools. * Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, especially MySQL and GCP Firestore.
