Ensure the availability, safe operation, and reliability of medical\-hospital equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, inspections, functional tests, calibration control, and support for asset management—contributing to continuity of healthcare services, user safety, and compliance with regulatory standards and institutional guidelines. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Execute the preventive maintenance program for equipment by adhering to the established schedule, performing cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, functional tests, and replacement of worn parts to ensure optimal performance, extend equipment service life, and reduce failure occurrences; * Perform corrective maintenance on electromedical equipment and accessories by diagnosing common failures, conducting tests, and executing repairs or component replacements to restore safe and proper equipment operation; * Adhere to the calibration schedule for measurement and maintenance-support equipment by segregating assets, monitoring the process, and arranging temporary equipment replacements across units to ensure measurement accuracy and operational continuity of services; * Monitor maintenance services performed by third-party companies directly in operational areas by verifying executed activities and adherence to established standards to ensure contracted services are correctly delivered and equipment operates safely and properly; * Remove defective equipment from healthcare units by identifying failures, recording incidents, and forwarding equipment to the Clinical Engineering workshop with a preliminary diagnosis to ensure traceability and expedite the maintenance process; * Prepare basic technical incident reports by documenting interventions performed on equipment in detail to maintain an updated history and support technical analysis and decision-making; * Assist in controlling the validity periods of equipment reports, certificates, and licenses by tracking deadlines and notifying the immediate supervisor of impending expirations to ensure regulatory compliance and prevent irregularities; * Conduct theoretical\-practical training for equipment users by guiding them on correct and safe operation and delivering periodic refresher courses to promote proper usage and prevent operational failures; * Perform inspections and functional tests on surgical center equipment using standardized technical checklists to ensure proper operation and safety during surgical procedures; * Support medical equipment inventory by organizing records and verifying asset information to maintain asset control and traceability; * Comply with quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards by following institutional protocols and legal guidelines to ensure workplace compliance and safety; Maintain cleanliness, preservation, and secure storage of equipment, materials, and workspaces, keeping them organized and following established routines to ensure appropriate usage conditions and maximize resource longevity; * Perform other duties pertinent to the role as required or at the discretion of the immediate supervisor to ensure flexibility and address emergent institutional needs. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical High School education in Electronics or Electrotechnology; * Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a Technology degree in Biomedical Systems, Industrial Automation, Industrial Electrotechnology, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering is desirable; * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is desirable; * Active CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians) registration. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00 **SPDM** — Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility in its headquarters city, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\.
