Structured Cabling Technician

Job Summary: A professional responsible for the implementation and maintenance of structured cabling and network projects, with a focus on quality and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunities for technical and personal growth * Familiarity with site layout and infrastructure. * Assess required tools based on project understanding to execute the project appropriately. * Care for and preserve company-provided tools used in projects, both for individual and collective use (vehicle, fusion splicer, labeling machine, tone generator, and Fluke tester). * Execute the project within the schedule set by your supervisor and in compliance with technical installation standards. * Immediately notify your supervisor of any modifications required to the original project. * Perform structured cabling services, electrical repairs, and telephone maintenance. * Provide power supply to routers and switches. * Network testing and certification, cable routing and connections, rack assembly, and mounting of connection panels. * Maintain a clean and well-organized workplace. * Prevent accident hazards by always using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Participate in company training programs aimed at technical and personal development and qualification. * Perform other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge and experience in structured cabling, CAT\-5e, Cat\-6, Cat\-6A, MM and SM Optical Fiber (Mandatory); * Experience in Data Center environments * Knowledge and certification in CommScope and Panduit structured cabling systems; * Familiarity with structured cabling certification equipment (FLUKE or similar).
