**Position:** Senior Maintenance Technician
**Description and Requirements**
**Who you will work with:**
The professional will join the Operations and Maintenance team of the São Gonçalo do Gurguéia PV Plant, one of the largest solar parks in Latin America. The role involves providing technical support for field activities related to the power electrical system, contributing to achieving plant availability, performance, and safety targets.
The work environment is dynamic, integrated, and focused on operational excellence, with strong collaboration among O\&M, Engineering, and Performance teams.
**What you will do:**
**In this role, you will be responsible for:**
* Operating and maintaining medium- and high-voltage electrical systems of the photovoltaic park, including equipment from the Step-up Substation (34.5 kV / 500 kV), transformers, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs), and other BOP components;
* Performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, as well as electrical testing, diagnostics, and technical support for failures;
* Ensuring asset reliability, safety, and availability by collaborating with operations and performance teams;
Experience with Protection, Control, and Supervision Systems (PCSS) will be considered a plus.
**What we expect from you:**
**Mandatory Qualification:**
Technical degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, or Automation, with an active CFT.
**Certifications / Qualifications**
* 5 years’ experience in photovoltaic plants and substations – a plus;
* Operation and maintenance of low-, medium-, and high-voltage power systems;
* Material and equipment management;
* Administrative processes;
* Supporting control of spare parts and consumables usage;
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings;
* Microsoft Office suite;
* Technical report writing / SAP system knowledge is a plus;
* Experience with Substation Protection and Automation Systems is desirable;
* Technical English is desirable.
Basic English/Spanish is a plus.
